TONIGHT Updates is the text program of TONIGHT, 710 W 6th St, Austin, TX 78701. Its texts are about the venue: opening news, events, guest lists and door times. You join by texting TONIGHT to the number above or by tapping TAP TO STAY UPDATED on tonightaustin.com. Joining is not a condition of any purchase.
If you apply to work at TONIGHT and give a mobile number, we may send one text to thank you for applying. That text does not enroll you in TONIGHT Updates. STOP and HELP work on it too.
After you reply STOP, one final text confirms that you have been removed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we collect
- What you give us: your mobile number, the first name you reply with and the texts you send to our number; and if you apply to work at TONIGHT, your name, email, Instagram handle, the roles you selected, your note and any resume you send.
- If you join text updates, the time you opted in, the wording you agreed to and your place on the list.
- If you add our pass to Apple Wallet, the pass registration and push token your device sends so the pass can update; if you save it to Google Wallet, Google holds the pass (your first name and place) on its own servers.
- Server logs (IP address and browser) that our host keeps for security, the IP address of each job application and lookup-code request, to stop spam, and cookieless page analytics from Cloudflare.
How we use and share it
We use it to tell you about TONIGHT, to consider job applications and to keep the site secure. Texts to our number are answered by an automated assistant and are also read by our team. We do not sell personal information.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent collected for text updates will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our host (Cloudflare, which also runs the assistant), our text-messaging provider, our email provider and Apple or Google (for Wallet passes) process data on our behalf, and only to do that work. We disclose information when the law requires it.
Your choices
Reply STOP to stop texts. Email help@tonightaustin.com to ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.
We keep your number and your opt-out on record so that STOP is honoured. The list and applications are kept while TONIGHT prepares to open and for as long as we need them after; the texts you exchange with our number are kept for 30 days; ask and yours is deleted. TONIGHT is 21+: the site and the text line are not directed at anyone under 18, and we delete any record we learn belongs to a minor.
